SQL Server 2008 New Language Features

Over 100 people from Melbourne's SQL Server community were in attendance on Tuesday at Freshwater place, Melbourne's Microsoft Head Quarters for February's SQL Server user group meeting to see Solid Quality Learning's Rob Farley present new language features including MERGE, Table Valued Parameters, Row Constructors and += for SQL Server 2008.

lid Quality Learning welcomes Dino Esposito as a new Solid Quality learning Mentor. Dino is a trainer and consultant based in Rome, Italy. Former member of the Wintellect team, Dino specializes in ASP.NET and ADO.NET and spends most of his time teaching and consulting across Europe and the United States. In particular, Dino managed the ADO.NET courseware for Wintellect and writes the Cutting Edge column for MSDN Magazine. Our goal is to serve our customers to improve their database systems, and ASP.NET is an important part of these systems. Also, Microsoft is releasing many exciting new technologies based on SQL Server and data access technologies one way or another, and Dino adds tremendous expertise and public image to our team in these areas.
